A small kennel for working Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dogs

Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog:

This is the official state dog of Louisiana, a very old breed originated to the natives and there especially to the tribe of Choctaw. The Catahoula breed was influenced by the spanish war dogs that Hernando de Soto left in the middle of the 16th century and also from the Beauceron that came with the french settlers. So this is a very old breed from the natives with a lot of history!

They are used for hunting hogs, herding cows, treeing smaller game like racoons and a lot for blood tracking.

A breed, that is called the most versatile breed, what means you can use those dogs for almost any kind of job. But they are not considered to be pure couch potatoes. If you are aiming for this, please choose another breed!
